Digital orders

There is nothing to ship. Your files are emailed to you as soon as they finish rendering, which is usually a few minutes. If an hour goes by and nothing has arrived, check your spam folder and then write to hello@placeswehold.com.

Download links stay live for 30 days. Ask and we will re-send them.

Printed pieces

Each piece is printed to order by our print partner and posted directly to you. Printing takes two to five working days, then the post takes however long the post takes — typically three to five working days within the United States.

We email you when it goes to the printer, and again with a tracking number when it ships.

What it costs

Shipping is free within the United States — it is included in the price you see, so there is nothing added at checkout.

Outside the US we charge what the carrier charges us, no more. The exact figure depends on what you ordered and where it is going — a poster to Canada is about $6, a large framed piece considerably more — and it is shown to you before you pay, never after.

Where we ship

United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia. If you are somewhere else and want a piece, write to us — we would rather find a way than turn you away.

Customs and duties

Orders outside the United States may attract import duty or tax on arrival. That is set by your country, not by us, and it is not included in the price.

If it does not arrive

Write to hello@placeswehold.com with your order number. We will chase the carrier, and if it is genuinely lost we will reprint it.
